You are never too old to give back!

If you have called into the Easter Seals Nashville office sometime over the past three years, there is a good possibility that Rita, an Easter Seals volunteer, assisted you.  She volunteers her time answering the main phone.

Today at 75, Rita shares, “I look forward to coming and can do something constructive.  I like the atmosphere and the clients. It makes me feel good when I can give the callers the information they need.”  Susan Brown and Lorri Brown, Easter Seals employees, had this to share about Rita. “She is a team player and is always willing to help anyway she can.  Bad weather isn’t a deterrent for Ms. Rita. She’s here rain or shine.” Moving here from Buffalo New York five years ago, she enjoys knitting, crocheting and reading. Rita has a daughter, a son, one grandson, three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
