DSP Appreciation Week 2025

What is a Direct Support Professional (DSP)?

These skilled professionals are crucial to the disability service system in assisting people living with a disability with daily tasks.  They help to facilitate community engagement, advocate, provide emotional support, and help people achieve their personal goals.

This week, September 7th-13th, we are celebrating the amazing contributions of the DSPs at Easterseals Tennessee and across the nation.  Everyday DSPs work to fulfill the mission of Easterseals TN by making profound, positive differences in the lives of others.
