Early Intervention for Children

At Easterseals Tennessee, every child’s potential is recognized and nurtured; families are a part of the process to success.

Overview

Easterseals Tennessee’s Early Intervention Program offers developmental therapy for children from birth to age 5 with a developmental delay or disability. The program’s goal is to empower families and childcare providers by coaching them to use effective strategies within daily routines, helping children build critical skills in communication, play, and learning.

Key Features:

  • Family-Centered Support: Sessions focus on coaching parents and caregivers.
  • Highly Trained Professionals: Early interventionists hold education-related degrees and participate in ongoing specialized training.
  • No Cost to Families: Services are provided through a partnership with the Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS).
