The anticipated outcome is that those employed through our Supported Employment program will retain their jobs, have a sense of pride in their employment, obtain greater social and communication skills, and even take advantage of career advancement opportunities within their job and company, which will ultimately foster inclusion, self-esteem, and well-being.

Supported Employment services provide assistance to people with disabilities to find individualized job development and specialized job training.  Services offer an opportunity for people to earn living wages, experience other employment benefits, develop additional skills, increase self-esteem, and empower quality of life.  Through programming, Easterseals TN can aid in increased opportunities for acceptance, participation, and inclusion for people of all abilities. Customized employment includes work at local businesses such as restaurants and hardware stores.
